
Anthony Neste Bio
Anthony started his career in photography in the mid 70’s, working for Sport Magazine. In 1980 he shot his first assignment for Sports Illustrated, this began a steady 15 year relationship working on an incredible variety of sporting events across the nation. He then also started working for HBO doing everything from publicity unit stills on movie sets to music concerts and comedy one night stands. Anthony has photographed countless championship boxing matches, Wimbledon and Inside the NFL. In 1999 Anthony became the photographer for The Sopranos and produced some of the most memorable publicity photographs from that show during the first two years. For over thirty years his artistic style continues to produce a body of work that is a unique blend of feeling, composition and color. Anthony is now the Director of Photography for the newest fashion, entertainment and lifestyle magazine in Central Florida, IMAGE. He also enjoys working on model shoots that help new models develop their portfolios and also experienced models that add variety to his overall creative style.

What three words best describes your photography? Sexxy,Classy,Fashion
How long have you been a photographer? 30+ years
Canon or Nikon? Nikon Baby
Do you shoot RAW or JPG? Both,depends on the client needs.
Do you find yourself scouting everywhere for new talent? Yes…the the world is full of beautiful Women with model potential.
Do models try to play you for gimmees? If so, does it work? All the time but it only works when they have something special that attracts me to them first.
Do you bring hairstylist and Make up artist to your shoots? Most of the time but I do wing it with the models that know how to do their own H/MU
Have you ever fallen head-over-heals for a model?Yes all the time,it’s always the one in front of me at the moment..lol

Do you think photographers get a bad rap? Only if they’re Bad and deserve it for the most part.
Who is your favorite photographer? My good friend Walter Iooss…one of the best ever.
Have you been able to travel alot? Yes,sometimes too much, especially when I was with Sports Ill.
What is the worst experience you can remember from a photoshoot? When the Model and I both were standing in a Poison Ivy patch and didn’t know until it was too late.But it became one of the best experiences when I had to apply the anti Itch cream..lol
Mac or PC? Both,Just got a new 24” I Mac that I’m learning.
What makes you different from the other photographers? I have 3 eyes…#3 is in my brain.
Who is the most famous model you have shot with? Elle Macpherson once in the SI office wishing we were on the beach. Brandy Roderick Playmate of the Year and my all time favorite Krista Allen, when I shot the publicity images for Baywatch.
Is there anything you want to express now that people should know about this business? It’s the best Job in the world. Someone asked me once “when are you going to retire?” …Never, because I love what I do. Retirement is for the ones that hate their Jobs.
