Where would we be if it were not for our forefathers, the pioneers, the people that had the guts enough to go against the grain knowing deep down that they were doing the right thing for the better of mankind despite mass controversy and pessimists everywhere. Well that is exactly what Christine Dolce Aka “ForBiddeN” did in 2006. She is the girl who helped create the landscape of Myspace and social networking for ever. Everyone knows that social networking is fueled by hot girls but it was Christine that knew it first. There was an enormous fear of the worst case scenarios with a laundry list of what ifs for girls that would choose to expose themselves to the masses. Anyone that was popular pre social networking era had a full team of managers and PR staff assisting with their every move. But this strong independent young woman from Long Beach, California didn’t care about the way things used to be and surely did not need a baby sitter. She begin to open herself up and allowed others into her creative online world filled with her very own make-up artistry and eye-popping glamour photos by top photographers that she has since put on the map. She was confident and positive and knew she was doing the right thing and would quickly learn that she was directly responsible for what would soon become one of the biggest movements that would forever change the world and the way we communicate. Christine embraced what others were afraid of. She knew deep down that there is nothing wrong with being beautiful and talented and sharing this with others would only empower not only herself but others to follow. She embraced this new world and continued to move forward despite all of the controversy building. She utilized her popularity to embark on positive career choices while helping many other along the way. Many learned quickly that mass exposure would eventually connect them to meeting great people and build opportunities beyond their wildest dreams.
