Biography
based out of Los Angeles, CA i give all credit and respect to GOD for the TALENT i share with you today. i began photoGRAPHY in 08′ but been an ARTist MYentire liFE. A self proclaimed *MOODphotographer* (i made that up) 
, specializing in the “experience” of the photo shoot. i call my SESSIONS ~ a r t | THERAPY for the simple reason that “there WILL definitely be a RELEASE when you shoot with me” and i will CAPTURE that release and name that Release “youART”. i do this FOR THE END result… an image that MAKES you look at yourself differently and causes others to SEE another Layer to your REAL BEauty. i’ve BEEN on the other side of the lens modeling for a few years prior to becoming a photographer, so i CATER to my MODELS, emotionally, mentally and physically in a way that only a previous MODEL can. My goal since i began D O N B G photo DESIGNS has been to CREATE ART in a “WorryFREE” environment. WorryFREE is big for me, so i only WORK with models and individuals that i VIBE with. btw (im easy to get along with) Future plans are to EXPAND my Business into the FIELD of Home and Business DECOR all around the WORLD. Do you see a solid career for the bikini models?
yes
Do models try to play you for gimmees? If so, does it work?
rarely – but they do TRY. never works,… ok maybe once or twice before BUT my attitude has changed about this business as i mature in the industry and become more ESTABLISHED. but hey, to each their own

Do you bring Hairstylist and Make up artist to your shoots?
i do have other artist available for the MODEL prior to SHOOTing, …for beautiful images to be PRODUCED – its definitely a TEAM effort. But when the shoot SESSION starts : no 1 is USUALLY on set but the MODEL and myself. (i’ve learned to be my own assistant;) ) i do this for the same reason a THERAPIST does, if we are in a A R T | therapy session – in order for it to be EFFECTIVE it must become PERSONAL and intimate at some point. this is how ART is birthed. i AIM for each session to be LIFE changing – and this is BEST ACHIEVED with limited DISTRACTIONS . d|b|g
Have you ever fallen head-over-heals for a model?
no.. NOT YET. but hey, the night is still young
What is better Myspace or Facebook?
FACEbook… i’ve gotten so many referrals from that site, it’s wonderful. i believe it makes the Potential client feel more comfortable if they get to know the PHOTOG. every1 wants to say, “Hey, i know a great photog.”. even if they dont know you personally , they can say it because they have you on their friends list .. so yes, FACEbook is good for that. d|b|g

Do you think photographers get a bad rap?
i don’t think its a BAD Rap, i think its a TRUE RAP. 90% of every model i work with has a HORROR STORY.. so i advice every PHOTOG to remember “you only get 1 CHANCE to make a fist impression”… D O N B G art|therapy session don’t get a BAD RAP at all just fyi
Who is your favorite photographer?

Have you been able to travel alot?
recently YES , but not as much as i want. hopefully in 2011 ill be all OVER especially out of the USA.
Where do you think most models live?
big DIFFERENCE between a MODEL and a PRETY girl. MOST models i feel are LIVING in LA studying their CRAFT.
What is the worst experience you can remember from a photoshoot?
the worst was a SUPER SLOW makeup artist at a SUNSET shoot. lol.. man, when she finished the sun rays were barely peeking over water.. that SUN had no PAtience for her and neither did i !… SHOOT was ruined, but hey – liVE and leaRN a lesson.. it never happened again

What makes you different from the other photographers?
“eye”… i think every PHOTOG sees the WORLD differently – so the “eye” makes us all UNIQUE.
Who is the most famous model you have shot with?
hmm.. ask me again in 6 months
Is there anything you want to express now that people should know about this business?
d o n b g p h o t o DESIGNS is an EXPERIENCE that each individual , model or NON-model should experience. Young to OLD. i’ve designed the experience to be a Beautiful BLEND of FUN, and FREEDOM while TEACHING, Encouraging and Equipping the MODEL to LIVE LIFE BEYOND the seemingly IMPOSSIBLE. u wont LEAVE the SAME.
