Tiësto’s career is punctuated by landmark achievements – the first DJ in the world to sell out a solo stadium event for over 25,000 people 2 nights in a row, he scored a number one hit with his single Traffic, the first instrumental track to reach the top spot in his homeland of Holland in 23 years. His remix of Delerium featuring Sarah McLachlan’s Silence was the first house track ever broadcast on daytime radio in North America, (it became an international dancefloor anthem and also spent eight weeks in the UK top 10 chart). He played live in front of billions of people during the Parade of the Athletes at the official opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Athens. But despite his meteoric success, Tiësto remains grounded about his achievements and clearly loves making and playing music above the accolades it brings.
Born in Holland, Tiësto became a DJ because he ‘liked to share music with other people. When I was younger, I’d listen to a radio show called the Soul Show, and to Ben Liebrand’s mix radio program, where he would remix and cut up different tracks, and I just thought – I want to do this!’ The productions came later, in 1995. ‘I really wanted to produce music that I could play in my sets, because it brings much more fulfilment to the process. I bought some samplers, some computer programs, and just started working on it.’ He makes it sound easy – indeed; he makes it look easy as 10 years down the line his productions consistently bother the charts and frequently reach number one around Europe.
In 1997 Tiësto, along with Arny Bink, formed Black Hole Recordings, the label that launched the hugely acclaimed Magik, In Search Of Sunrise, and Nyana mix compilations. The label grew to such proportions that in 2001 Tiësto started a sub-label, Magik Muzik. ‘It’s the home of records of mine, or of people whose work I really believe in,’ he enthuses. ‘Everything on Magik Muzik is what you’ll find in my sets, which makes it more of my own little project.’ Some of the gems from Magik Muzik include 2001 anthem Flight 643 and his artist albums In My Memory, Just Be and Elements of Life.
He genuinely enjoys his achievements, but Tiësto keeps both feet on the ground: ‘It’s hard to look too far into the future. Every couple of months it seems that something new, unexpected and exciting is happening!’

Where were you born, and how was life growing up? ModelResponse: I was born in Tampa, Florida. Life was great, my parents spoiled me
What nationality are you? ModelResponse: I am part German and Irish. I’m also a little Dutch.
What would the average person say about you? ModelResponse: Once they got to know me they would say I am very down to earth and also funny. At first I am a little shy but if I get to know someone I will talk there ear off!
What kind of stuff did you get into after high school? ModelResponse: I was BAD in high school, now I am in college and I would never think of doing the things I use to do in Highschool. I say its a good thing because I got all my curiosity out before I started college.
Do you have any secret weaknesses or guilty pleasures? We won’t tell anybody… promise. I absolutely love Coca Cola, I feels as If i NEED it daily!!!
Describe your most embarrassing moment. Well I have had many, I fall ALOT, I am very very clumsy.
What has been your most memorable experience as a model? Well what I love most is meeting new people in the business but also all my fans that I now have. I never imagined actually having a fan.. lol and its really awesome getting letters from fans and when they make picture designs for me
What’s your biggest turn on? Confidence!
What’s one thing about yourself that everyone should know? I am very sensitive, I take everything people say to me or about me very personal.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go and who would you take with you? Italy, I love Italian food!!

Besides modeling, what do you do for fun? I am married to my computer!! lol I love taking my puppy on walks at parks, I love the beach and cooking recipes.
What are your dreams and goals? Basically just to be happy!

How did you get your start in modeling? Just signed up at ModelMayhem and then photographers started contacting me and it went on from there once I got some better photos!

Where were you born, and how was life growing up? I was born in Los Angeles Ca. Growing up was amazing! My mom was a Playmate (Miss. February 1969) and my father a well known Disk Jockey (Rick Ward) Lets just say, it was wild!
What nationality are you? I’m mostly Italian, but have a little French, Russian, and Canadian in me.
What would the average person say about you? The “average” person? I don’t many average people, but if I did, they would say I’m craaaaaaazzzy!
What kind of stuff did you get into after high school? After highschool I studied to become a Lawyer. I have yet to finish, but have high hopes, as I just returned back to school.
Do you have any secret weaknesses or guilty pleasures? Hmmmmm ….. Do I dare tell???? I REALLY loooove massages. I become so weak, hehehe
Describe your most embarrassing moment. I have embarrassing moments so much that I don’t even think I get embarrassed anymore, lol .. I have to say it was the time when I came out of the bathroom of a hot club with the back of my dress tucked into my g string, so all the club was looking right at my booty, lol.. I know now why I don’t wear panties anymore.
What has been your most memorable experience as a model? One of my most memorable experiences as a model was when my mother and I came out in a “Daughters Of A Playmate pictorial” for Playboy in March of 2008
What’s your biggest turn on? I’m turned on most by intelligence, street smarts, drive, honestly, and patience.
What’s one thing about yourself that everyone should know? Everyone should know that I put others before myself. I love to give, and help others in need.
Do you kiss on the first date? I have kissed on the 1st date, but if you try to make that move on date one, your more then likely not going to make it to date two with me.

What do you like best about being a model? I love being a model because I’m able to give so much more, and I have great fans who are there to listen, and help. I recently took 1st place in a virtual walk forwww.alagille.org I was able to raise the most money because I’m a model, and my fan base was so large that I was able to network, and get people to donate. It was amazing!

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go and who would you take with you? At this point in my life I have many things I want to do, and plenty I want to see, but right now, I would go on a Disney Cruise anywhere the ship was going with Justen Angel, and Arianna Marie
We know you’re a model and all, but you must have a favorite food. What is it? Wrong question! Me? Favorite, when it comes to food??? I think I’m the only model I know that eats anything, and everything! I love food! I wake up happy knowing that it’s time to eat, haha.
Besides modeling, what do you do for fun? For fun I love charity work, shopping, going on twitter, and Myspace to talk to my fans, and learning.
What are your dreams and goals? My dream is to be a sucessful Lawyer, and my goal is to be so sucessful so that I can find a cure for Alagille Syndrome a rare and nasty disease tht affects the Liver, Heart, Kindney’s, and lungs.
Would you prefer a guy to pursue you, or do you like to be the aggressor? I have been told that my looks and personality are quite intimidating, so with that being said, it’s nice when a good strong man tells me he wants to take me out.
How did you get your start in modeling? I started modeling when my mom took my to my 1st Playboy Mansion party. She REALLY wanted me to be in Playboy, so I test shot for them, and out came my pictorial.
What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done? One of the craziest things I have done is had sex on the top of a huge hotel roof in Vegas
