Mario Brown Biography:

Mario Brown is a young, laid-back Latin photographer that was born and raised near the beach in Los Angeles. For personal reasons life currently has him in Salt Lake City but often travels throughout the US and gets back to LA often as he can. His inspiration comes from growing up in LA and traveling the world in search of different people, different cultures, different ideas, different faces and of course…beautiful women. haha. Fashion and style have always been an important way for him to express himself. Now this includes photography. As far as how he got started in photography the truth is that he bought my very first SLR camera in June 2008 after he was invited to go to a photoshoot and the photographer let me take a few pics of the models just for fun. His angles were good, his captures were tight and the models loved his style. At that point he knew he was on to something good. He had discovered a real talent he didn’t know he had in him. When he finally got his own camera he practiced with his friends and noticed that his skills were RAPIDLY getting better and better with each shoot. Pretty soon everybody wanted to shoot with him and his name was getting recognized all around town. Watch out because his skills are still getting better and better! This is EXCITING! His photography has become a true PASSION of his! He still considers his talent RAW and UNTAPPED! To this day he has never taken a photography class, photoshop course or even read the entire manual for his camera…haha. However, he has through hours upon hours of practicing with his camera found out what works for him and his models. His photography and style have EXPLODED all over! His pictures and beautiful models can be found all over the net and in published magazines. He feels lucky to have discovered this talent he didn’t know he had. His style is definitely CALIENTE, RAW, SEXY, SENSUAL and CLASSY. And this is only the beginning for Mario Brown.

What three words best describes your photography? Caliente, Sexy, Sensual

How long have you been a photographer? I was born with the talent but didn’t discover it til just recently. Don’t hold it against me. My name is out there will all the big dogs that shoot SEXY already.

Canon or Nikon? Canons are sexier

Do you see a solid career for the bikini models? Sure! Some def have a good career and have what it takes

Do models try to play you for gimmees? If so, does it work? Yes they do and depending on how hot they are it definitely will work. haha

Do you bring Hairstylist and Make up artist to your shoots? Sometimes. I don’t worry too much about makeup and hair. I love a good MUA and hairstylist though…as long as they don’t take too long

Have you ever fallen head-over-heals for a model? Head-over-Heals…? ALL THE TIME! haha. Fall in Love…? Nooo

What is better Myspace or Facebook? Facebook. I don’t do Myspace at least not yet.

Do you think photographers get a bad rap? Definitely especially when you shoot sexy hotties all the time. haha

Who is your favorite photographer? Jose Luis is a stud but I try to have my own style different from anyone elses.

Have you been able to travel alot? Yes and I love shooting models from all over! Photogs should get out and experience different locations and models. Diversify.

Where do you think most models live? Models can be found in your backyard no matter where you live but a photographers dream is Los Angeles, NY, TX and Miami

What is the worst experience you can remember from a photoshoot? Just jealous boyfriends causing drama.

What makes you different from the other photographers? I still have a lot to learn but I believe that anyone can take a picture of a beautiful woman but there is SO MUCH MORE than that. With each shoot my goal is to capture that split second of intense love, passion and emotion that each person possesses. JUST BECAUSE A PHOTOGRAPHER IS COOL AND HAS HOT MODELS IN THEIR PORT DOESN’T MEAN THEY ARE A GOOD PHOTOGRAPHER. PLEASE DON’T BE CONFUSED! Look at the capture, the emotion, the angle, the lighting, the quality…Does the pic speak to you and tell you something? Does it make to wanna say DAMN?! Does the photographer use the same old location with the same old pose and just switch out the model? haha. “Stand here please.” haha. That’s kinda funny. Why would you want to have the same exact look in the same location as the rest of their models? I don’t understand.

Who is the most famous model you have shot with? I look for they girl next door and then try to make them famous. My pictures are flooding the net and the models I shoot are becoming famous.

Is there anything you want to express now that people should know about this business? Be unique. Bring out the best in a model by making them feel beautiful and comfortable. FInd new faces. Find new poses. Be a leader. Get out there and travel! Always look to improve your skills!
